OEM, ODM, private label and white label — what each one means here
Sellers use these four terms interchangeably, but the work, the MOQ and the cost are different. Here is exactly how we define them.
Private label
You choose one of our existing designs; we print and pack it with your brand on the box, canvas and cards. Fastest route to your own branded product. MOQ 100 per design.
OEM
You supply the artwork or photo and the brand assets; we manufacture the kit to your specification. You own the design, we own the production. MOQ 100 per design.
ODM
You bring a market brief — theme, size, price point, audience — and our designers develop designs, colour maps and packaging for you. MOQ 100 per design plus design time.
White label
Unbranded kits in neutral packaging, ready for you to add labels or sell through your own channels. No minimum artwork, MOQ 50 per design.

A paint by numbers kit lives or dies by how it looks on a shelf and how it feels when the box opens. We print digitally, which means short runs with full-colour artwork, no expensive plates and no six-week lead time for a bespoke mailer.
Send us a dieline, a reference product or a Pinterest board and our packaging designer will produce a print-ready layout, then a 3D preview so you can approve it before a single box is made.

Your logo on the canvas, done properly
Printing a logo on the canvas edge is easy. Printing it so it stays readable, does not clash with numbers and survives a light wash of paint takes a little care — which is why we test placement on the actual printed sheet, not just a screenshot.
We can also print your brand on the backing board, add a hang tag, or leave a clean 2 cm border for framing.

Brushes and paints your customers will not complain about
Cheap brushes shed bristles into wet paint, and cheap paints dry streaky — both generate one-star reviews that no amount of good design fixes. We specify our component quality ourselves and can show you the difference in a sample before you order.

How a private label project runs
1. Brief & NDA
Send brand assets, target price and quantity. We sign an NDA before files change hands.
2. Mockup
Digital mockup of canvas, box, cards and inserts within 1–3 business days, two revision rounds included.
3. Sample
Physical pre-production sample in 5–7 days, including printed packaging.
4. Production
10–15 days for private label, with QC on print registration, colour, paint fill and box assembly.
5. Ship
FOB Qingdao to your forwarder, or door-to-door express and sea freight.
Private label questions, answered
What is the MOQ for private label and OEM?
100 kits per design when your logo appears on the box, cards or canvas. If you only need plain packaging with a sticker, 50 kits per design is enough. New artwork developed by our designers starts at 100 kits, and design time is quoted per project.
Is design really free, including packaging?
Photo conversion, line art, colour separation and digital mockups of the canvas and packaging are free with every order. What we charge for is original illustration from scratch, licence review or unusually complex artwork — and we always confirm that cost in writing before starting.
Can I use my own artwork or a licensed image?
Yes, as long as you hold the rights. We ask for a simple confirmation, and we never reuse, resell or publish customer artwork. If you are licensing art from an illustrator, we can sign their NDA as well.
Will the factory ever sell my design to someone else?
No. Client designs are stored in your own folder, excluded from our public catalogue, and only used to fulfil your orders. Private label customers can request a written exclusivity statement for their designs and category.
Can you add barcodes, FNSKU labels and EU/UK market labels?
Yes. We apply EAN/UPC barcodes, FNSKU labels, poly bag suffocation warnings, CE/UKCA-related producer details and GPSR importer information as part of the packing process — send the label artwork and we handle the application.
Do you support multilingual packaging and instructions?
We print packaging and instruction sheets in any language you supply, and we can arrange translation review for major European languages and Japanese. Multi-language inserts are a common add-on for distributors selling across regions.
